… to Saturday 25th
Chick with a fish.
Peacock sunning itself on the footpath.
Green veined white.
Easyjet passing overhead.
Small dog, like all small dogs, taking an instant dislike to me and my camera.
All four grebe chicks.
Post coital flap.
“Why?” you ask “Why has he taken a picture of a lump of dirt?”
It was moving: a mole below was working hard in its search for worms and insects.
Blackbird almost hidden in apple blossom.
Nettle looking quite reptilian.
Weather not triffic: Just Town and back.
Grebe parent on the hunt for food for the next generation.
Hawthorn in full bloom by the pond.
Saturday 25th May
Nb Tamara came down from Shireoaks WMC. She’d been up to the top and they’d given “Rambling Mike” a ride part way down.
Not the sort of thing that’s usually seen as worth snapping.
The little lilly patch in the pond is leafing up.
Had enuff robins yet?
Yup! Another bloody robin pic!
pretentious arty warning
Only a log in the water with rushes.
Speckled wood butterfly.
Thrushes fighting. Yes they were fighting!
This tortoiseshell had presumably overwintered – it looked very “motheaten”.
